March is in Like a Lion!
Almost half way into March and the weather still hasn't settled into spring-like conditions! When it's been cold, it is really really cold! When it warms up a bit, thanks to chinook winds, it is still really really cold! I look forward to putting away the boots and parkas for a few months!
In the office, we are winding down. Our ESL classes are continuing. We have classes running on Tuesday mornings at the Foremost Family Centre, (formerly the Foremost Legion) and classes on Thursdays at the Bow Island E-Free Church. New students are always welcome!
Parent/Child Mother Goose at the Bow Island Library is at 10:30 am on Fridays and at the Foremost Library at 10:45 am on Fridays. This will be our final year of supporting the Parent/Child Mother Goose Program. We would like to thank all the Moms and their Children for joining us throughout the past years. It has been so much fun. Speaking for myself, I really enjoyed getting to know the younger children in our community and to watch them grow and become adults! My wish is that all our past and present attendees have a healthy and successful future!
We had a Microsoft Excel Course in Manyberries a couple weeks ago and it was very well received. If you are interested in a computer based course, please call or email our office and we will try to put something together. Please note: we will require 5 students minimum to put on a computer course.
Vinyasa Yoga, which is an easy flow style of yoga, will be coming back in April. If you would like to attend, contact the office and let us know.
If you have anything else you would like to see in our communities, contact us.
-Stay warm and drive safe!
